Reviews From Happy Customers
"I burst into tears the moment I opened the box. Losing Daisy left a huge void, but having this little soul makes me feel like she’s still watching over me. They captured her 'judgmental' eyes perfectly. Thank you for bringing my girl back home."
"Bought this for my husband after our cat passed away. He’s not a crier, but he was speechless for a good ten minutes. It’s not just a 'toy,' it’s a piece of art that actually feels like our boy. Truly the most meaningful gift I’ve ever purchased."
"Knowing that my dog’s actual hair is woven into this portrait makes it feel so personal. It’s so lifelike that my other dog actually sniffed it and wagged his tail! The craftsmanship is 10/10 and the process was so respectful. I'm obsessed."
"Omg!! I don't know how they did it but the expression is EXACTLY like Luna’s. Every time I walk past the shelf, I have to double-take because I think it’s really her. If you’re on the fence about the price, just do it. It is worth every single penny."

The concept is lovely and I appreciate the handmade quality. My dog's coat color is close but not exact — he's more golden than brown. It's still a nice piece of art to have around.
Thanks for the feedback, Peter. Golden coats can be tricky to match — we'd be happy to discuss adjustments if you reach out to us.

Bought this embroidery hoop for my husband who adores our dachshund. He hung it in his home office the same day. Production time was about a month which felt long, but the result is worth it.
Thank you, Jennifer! Each piece is fully handmade so it takes a bit of time, but we're always trying to be more efficient.

The dog portrait is well done and the wool gives it a cozy feel. I would have liked a bit more detail around the nose area but my family still thinks it looks great.
Thanks for the feedback, Theresa! We'll keep that in mind. Glad your family loves it.

Sent in a tricky photo where my dog was mid-yawn and somehow they still nailed it. The wool texture gives it a warmth that a photo print just can't match.

I lost my border collie last spring. When the felt portrait arrived, it was like seeing him again. The way they captured his mismatched eyes was incredible. It now has a permanent spot on my mantle.
S
The dog portrait looks okay. The shape of the face is right but the eye color doesn't quite match my dog's. It's still a nice decorative piece, just not as personalized as I hoped.
We appreciate the honest feedback, Steve. We'd love to make it right — feel free to reach out to us at support@raylumepet.com.

The quality of the dog portrait is really nice and my boyfriend loved it. I ordered it 5 weeks before his birthday and it arrived just in time. Would suggest ordering early.
Good tip, Erin! We do recommend ordering 4–6 weeks ahead for gifts. Glad it made it in time!

I ordered the dog embroidery hoop for my mom's birthday. She loved it. The colors match her golden retriever really well. I just wish there was a tracking update during production.

The wool sculpture of my French Bulldog looks great on the shelf. The texture of the fur feels nice. Only thing is the ears could have been a bit more upright, but it's a minor detail.
A
First one was for my own dog, second one was a gift for my sister's cat. Both turned out great. The felt texture adds something you just don't get from a flat print.
C
I lost my poodle two months ago. When the portrait arrived, I held it and just cried. It looks exactly like her. Having it on my nightstand helps me feel close to her still.
We're honored to keep her memory close for you. Thank you, Christina.

Every guest who visits asks about the embroidery hoop on my wall. When I tell them it's needle felted from wool, they can't believe it. The detail is that good.

I left my dog's felt portrait on the side table near the door. The delivery guy actually jumped when he saw it through the window. That's how realistic it is.
