By Hand,

From the Heart.

Pets are family in the purest sense, and their absence leaves a shadow only love and art can fill. At Raylume, we bridge the gap between a painful goodbye and a tactile hello. We don’t simply "manufacture" a likeness; we strive to breathe life into wool.

By weaving your pet’s actual fur or whiskers into our hand-felted portraits, we transform loose fibers into lifelike tributes—placing a physical piece of their spirit back into a form you can touch once more.

Small dog being held by a person with a blurred background

"I burst into tears the moment I opened the box. Losing Daisy left a huge void, but having this little soul makes me feel like she’s still watching over me. They captured her 'judgmental' eyes perfectly. Thank you for bringing my girl back home."

"Bought this for my husband after our cat passed away. He’s not a crier, but he was speechless for a good ten minutes. It’s not just a 'toy,' it’s a piece of art that actually feels like our boy. Truly the most meaningful gift I’ve ever purchased."

"Knowing that my dog’s actual hair is woven into this portrait makes it feel so personal. It’s so lifelike that my other dog actually sniffed it and wagged his tail! The craftsmanship is 10/10 and the process was so respectful. I'm obsessed."

"Omg!! I don't know how they did it but the expression is EXACTLY like Luna’s. Every time I walk past the shelf, I have to double-take because I think it’s really her. If you’re on the fence about the price, just do it. It is worth every single penny."

Great portrait, wish the hoop was bigger

The felt work on my cockatoo is really detailed — the white feathers look fluffy and soft. My only wish is that the embroidery hoop could have been a bit larger to show more of the body.

The curved beak is perfect

I was most worried about the beak shape since parrots have such distinctive ones. They nailed it. The green-cheeked conure looks exactly like my little Mango.

A gift my bird-loving sister will treasure

My sister has two budgies and I ordered a felt portrait of the prettier one for her birthday. She cried when she opened it. The tiny beak and little feet are adorable.

My sun conure is so colorful

Sun conures are already bright and the artist captured every shade — the oranges, yellows, and even the little blue on the wings. It looks like a real painting made of wool.

Hard to find art for birds

I've searched everywhere for custom art of my African Grey and never found anything decent until this. The grey feather texture and the red tail are both very accurate. Really impressed.

Perfect memorial for my cockatiel

My cockatiel lived with me for 12 years. I ordered this felt portrait after she passed. When it arrived, I held it and just sat there. The yellow face and orange cheeks are exactly right.

My macaw looks incredible in felt

I sent in a photo of my blue-and-gold macaw and the portrait came out stunning. The feather colors are spot on — even the subtle green on the wings. It's hanging on my wall now.

Beautiful but a bit pricey

The quality is undeniable — my amazon parrot's green feathers have all the right variations in tone. It's just on the expensive side. Still, it's handmade and unique so I understand.

Good work on a tricky subject

I have a quaker parrot with very specific grey and green patterns. The artist captured most of it well. The eye color is slightly different from the reference photo but it's still a nice piece.

Lovely piece, long shipping time

The felt portrait of my eclectus is beautiful — the green and red colors are vivid. It took almost 6 weeks to arrive though, which was longer than expected. Still worth it.

Nice likeness of my parrotlet

Parrotlets are tiny and the artist did a good job with the small proportions. The blue body color is accurate. The beak could be a shade lighter but overall I'm happy with it.

Worth the wait for this level of detail

It took about a month to arrive but the quality justifies it completely. My Indian Ringneck's neck ring and beak are both perfectly done. This is true art.

Better than I imagined

Ordered a portrait of my lovebird. The gradient from green to blue on the feathers is seamless. I keep showing it to everyone who visits. They can't believe it's made of wool.
